American Meteorological Society 100th Annual Meeting

Wireless Research Center’s Mike Barts, Asokan Ram, Koichiro Takamizawa and Shruthi Soora presented, “An Architecture for Monitoring Humidity Using Cellular Network Signals.” The presentation focused on developing a technique to use 4G/5G signals to derive integrated humidity between base stations and sensors. The WRC team was joined in the presentation by Mark Weber, Dusan Zrnic, Alexander Ryzhkov, Danny Wasielewski of the NOAA OAR National Severe Storm Laboratory, and Keith Brewster of the Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms at the University of Oklahoma.
