The Wireless Research Center is an independent, private nonprofit research center dedicated to applied research and engineering. The WRC helps clients from around the world develop products and services that advance wireless technology innovation – from in-body sensors and implanted medical devices to satellites and space exploration.
Success is fostered by building a community of collaboration in public and private sectors, accelerating development of ideas from initial concept through commercial production. The WRC’s novel approach to intellectual property does not require a share of jointly developed inventions, unique among research organizations globally.
Why We Keep Customer Names Confidential
The WRC has supported more than 250 organizations with research and development of wireless products. The WRC was founded with the vision to be a catalyst for trustworthy collaboration to advance wireless connectivity worldwide. The WRC’s policy to not require a share of intellectual property is unique among research organizations globally and is the cornerstone to building a relationship of trust and collaboration with customers and partners.
The WRC’s research and engineering services are an extension of a customer’s team. All jointly developed IP is owned by the customer. Because of this spirit of innovative collaboration and trust, the WRC keeps the identity of customers confidential unless customers choose to share our collaboration success.
