Public Invited to Join Discussion with IoT Experts at Atlanta Tech Village


What: Discover the IoT trends impacting – and poised to disrupt – the sports and entertainment industries.

RIoT, a community of technologists, engineers, business leaders, academics, policy makers and entrepreneurs who have a role in the Internet of Things of connected devices, will recap the flexible network that powered the Atlanta Super Bowl. Panelists will also spotlight the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks smart beer taps and look at technology that will shape the experience at future sports and entertainment events.

The discussion will include smart stadiums, flexible crowd-proof networks, sensor-backed inventory management, responsive data analytics, event access control and event security, and look at what is ahead in IoT shaping the future of sports and entertainment.

  • RIoT – Executive Director Tom Snyder

Snyder will moderate the discussion. He has more than 25 years in product and technology development in consumer and industrial electronics, healthcare and Internet of Things. Experience in multi-national corporations including HTC, Ericsson and Sony Ericsson, and small business consulting, teaching, startup acceleration and entrepreneurship. He has been awarded more than 30 patents.
